but on a lighter note, i wanted to thank OP for not only separating the files, but adding descriptions that can be read on screen-readers and other adaptive tech. people who have no vision, low vision, and the not actually that rare colorblindness should have thematic ninja, too. which has been part of ninja media for *decades*.

...it would be a real awful shame if anyone thought those people are contributing nothing to the itch community.

Thank you for sharing your perspective!

i dont mean to diminish your effort but recolors of already available assets are really only going to bloat the servers, its easy recoloring  assets in the game engine with modulate or self modulate and its also pretty easy with gimp or other apps

again I'm sorry for being that guy but if I was to release all the recolored assets I've made it would amount to 100s of files,  please consider if the community is enriched by your contributions or if its just data bloat.

I understand your point of view, and I appreciate you sharing your opinion. You’re absolutely right that adding many files can contribute to data bloat.

The reason I decided to upload these assets is to provide more options for the community. The need to recolor them myself arose because there weren’t already uploaded versions in different colors. I also wanted to make it easier for anyone who might want to use the exact same variations as the ones in my game without needing to recolor them themselves.

.....not all of us are any good at picking palettes, even with palette generators. Much less matching them to themes. That is a skill, which is surprise, something people can sell. Particularly since one of the options is dumping the originals in an artist-thieving a.i. machine.

also i am curious how less than 1mb of files has set you off? There are literally asset packs made of stolen art numbering in the 100s and 1000s but this is your hill? of all the things to "cause data bloat"? will you come after me for using a png, next, instead of a gif?

like, dude, i seriously think you are projecting very hard on someone else. what community are you enriching, again?

i bet you think grandma's quilts don't cost anything and are taking up space.

Hello Alina Ino! I want to clarify that these sprites were originally created by LuizMelo, as I mentioned in the post. They are licensed under CC0, meaning they are freely available for both commercial and personal use without any restrictions. I’m not trying to profit from someone else’s work. I simply shared my versions of the sprites in case anyone would like to use them. Additionally, neither the original sprites nor my versions are being sold. However, if the original creator has any concerns about this, I will delete them immediately.
